What Hope are you looking for on this site?
To connect with others with Brain injuries and thier CARE GIVERS who never give up HOPE! My son Randal suffered a TBI from a result of Viral Encephalitis. He has underwent so much since becoming ill at age 9. Two major brain surgeries one to remove part of his right temoral lobe and the other to split his brain 3/4 the way back. He is the first person to in the state of TN to recieve a VNS implant all of this to help slow his seizures. He still has many seizures a month and is often hospitalized but, he always bounces back and is such an inspiration to us. He never gives up, Loves life and lives it to the fullest.

I am not really sure, I have been there but it has been years. I 'd say 3 to 4 hours....I think it would be great if Mark still made improvements after 18 years but according to the doctors that isn't likely to happen at the ripe age of 54 b/c it is downhill from here they say. But hey, I met a 72 year old woman who started sky diving at 70!!! Who knows!
